Random factor reduced

We made a change to the match simulation to make the outcome less random. Stronger players now have a larger chance to win a match.

Im new in this game but im not so agree with you. If the purpose of this game is to be more similar to tennis pro, then you can see many tournaments are not won often from number 1 or number 2 of the seed. In this game when i see results of the week i see ever victory from no.1 or no.2...it's a little boring and mechanic

I must say that i do not like this idea. I feel i have strong players in most of the gamewolrds, but if the stongest player allways wins, then we will lose many managers before they learn the game the right way, because it then gets to boring!! And who would like to have a player that will not lose for 3-4 years on the prefered surface let us say 90% hardcourt... BORING, it`s more fun when 4-5 players can battle for the number 1 spot, and here we can not! There is many times a player who is in a league of his own!!

Why does the players not get injuries?? In real life they do

It could be fun if you added injuries, Hiring trianers who told you what to do, more training possibilitys like make your player faster or stonger or getting the endurance up, and such things... Getting sponsors wich gives you money to travel around the world so you have money to play the tournaments and for medical stuff a such things... I know that is a lot of suggestions.... ;)

I like this ideas, but I feel that the creators of this game want to keep it simple... About this change to match simulation, I don't like it too, I already felt that we could find easily who'd be in semis of a tournament when we saw its draw. I don't think there are much surprises, and we're reducing them again ! In real life, it often happens that Federer or whoever loses matches which he should win even if he'd have better skill/serve etc. in this game... But I believe that the moderators have their reasons for this change :)

it would be realistic to add costs to the traveling, i mean its not normal in juniors or futures to see players one week in canada the next in africa, an so on, if you are young you only register in your country if you cant afford to travel to another, and sould be the posibility to practice in every country,
another interesting thing would be to hidden players strenght, speed, its to easy to pick up a player when you got all the stats,
also isnt normal to a top 5 player to register every tournament year after year, week after week, a nb.1 player dont win Washington, Canada, Cincinnati, New Haven, US Open,
one after another, i have an ideea if you win a tournament even if your stamina is still high for example 4.1 from 4.8 full, it should add a penalty of some percent to say 30%-50% to start the next week, after the next week if you win again all 5 matches again a penalty to the stamina, if you dont win the endurance should regenerate with out any penalty, if some of this ideeas would be considered or added it should make a good balance in this game,

i don't know about these ideas, i find right give more chance to players with high endurance...if i chose this quality for my player than strenght or talent i want any more chance going up in the year. If you are stronger you can beat me one week but the next you are tired and im not...it's a strategy.
Anyway we must find a method for give more unpredictability to this game. You can see a draw and understand immediately when you will lose and whom.

This is not the place to suggest new ideas for the game.

This thread was about a change in 2008. I don't think you have anything to worry about ;-)
