Who can stop T. Rauh and I. Albornos in the future?

Postby solo » Tue Feb 23, 2010 3:32 pm

Rauh won 7 hard court grand slams (4Australian Open and 3 US Open) I. Albornos dominates the clay field in the past three years.

If they play their best, there is not anyone good enough to stop them. Who can stop Raritet ?
AllStars got full of the grand slams that add up to 278(including All the Game Worlds).

It's crazy. Abornos has 120 consecutive wins on clay, Rauh has 50 consecutive wins on hard. They'll dominate the singles for another 4 years, I think. Unless Herold turns out to be good, with amazing fixed stats, how much XP does he have?
Chafer(RR5) - 1st in doubles for 28 weeks
Anegas(RR7) - 1st in doubles for 4 weeks
Mikhaylian(RR5) - 3rd in singles + 9th in doubles
Zerbi(RR6) - 6th in singles at just 24
Deneraiz - 6th in singles
Panfilov(RR5) - 10th in singles

T.Rauh has a few years ahead of him on 1st spot, Camus might be as good as him in future (21y, 12th in the world, 4.6 skill 4.0 in service), with Herold challenging him. On clay Albornos might win every Masters+GS next year again, I hope that Monfils will challenge him but his mentality kills him in tough matches. But it'll probably be the last year of Albornos' domination, Year 32 should be very interesting.

I said that year 32 would be very interesting on clay season, it's not false :)
Monte Carlo
Albornos took title in a tough match in final vs 99% clay experter Cintero, past RG winner. Monfils and Capeles reached semis.

Rome
Albornos being banned, Cintero beat Monfils in final 6/4 4/6 6/3, Pozuelos and Farmand reached semis.

Madrid
Albornos was banned again. Cintero wins again in final vs Delfierro. This is the first time in 14 years that it's not a Spanish who wins title, the last being Zagrilla in year 18. Monfils and Rauh reached semis.

Roland Garros will be very interesting. We'll see if Albornos manages to beat Cintero as at Monte Carlo or if Cintero beats him like last year. Monfils will be the challenger.
